Gerry
Angel, RN, Ph.D., the principal of Long-Term Insurance Services, possesses a strong commitment to educate
and help people plan for their future health care needs.
Gerry’s experience with her own family’s long-term
care needs, particularly her Dad, who had Parkinson’s Disease for a number of years, provided the impetus for her to
obtain a health insurance license in 1993 with the goal of specializing in LTCi. “I saw the critical need to help families
not only protect assets, but also to have an insurance plan in place that would provide access to quality care options and
choices, while providing peace of mind and security for their future,” she explains.
This protection is even more important now. With our country’s unpredictable
economic climate, people need to stretch their retirement savings even further. Individuals are also living longer, more women
are working, and families are often geographically dispersed; making direct “hands-on” family care less likely.
